Your reference is to the song or the band called Cats Under The Stars? The Band played with Vince Welnick from the Dead and as I remember also appeared on A Prairie Home Companion.

The song's pretty good, too.

"Rubin & Cherice" is a great song, but album as a whole is a dud. Bad production makes it sound like a cheap version of 461 Ocean Blvd or something.
