I like the new Faithless single...

...despite the fact that it contains some of the most cringe-inducing lyrics I've heard on the pop charts since "he's getting a tattoo, yeah he's gettin' ink done..." - I dig the horn samples, and the Stereolab-y background coos. Would love to hear a dubbed-out version

MAN is Sister Bliss still a hottie or WHAT???

Oh, i'm not buying SHIT. I'm moving next month. Old enough to repay, young enough to sell on eBay. Stay tuned

I actually like the words *and* the music of "Mass Destruction". The rest of the album is pretty good, too, though probably not as good as their second one, and definitely not as good as their first one (which was great).

eleven months pass...
I just bought the first Faithless album used! I've only played "Insomnia" and the first track. The first track is kind of embarassing but "Insomnia" still pwns.

the first minute of track 1 is/was great

Yeah, but then dude starts rapping and it's all kind of... um. Yeah.

Track 5 ("Angeline"), OTOH, is completely ludicrous but still awesome. And how the hell did I not know about "Salva Mea"????? OMG.

And I have to mention that the album version of "Insomnia" is like aural sex. So perfect.

yeh Rollo/Bliss swiped the bassline from Biosphere's 'Novelty Waves' for that opening part of album 'Insomnia', to good effect.

have you heard 'Let This Be A Prayer' or Rollo's productions prior to 'Insomnia' Dan? (including Felix 'Don't You Want Me', OT Quartet 'Hold That Sucker Down' and Kristine W 'Feel What You Want')

"Don't You Want Me" is godly. Haven't heard the others.

Great song.
