Ma$e - Back In The Days

The prince of thug passion returns with a pretty, sad lil love jam about his girlfriend. It's really sad because he's lost her 'you could be a christian rich somewhere/but you aint choose to listen, so get somewhere'. At the end he shouts her out singing 'i'm in love with a girl named Twyla (??) i'm in love with a girl from Mississippi named Twyla' and it's really beautiful and charismatic.

Does he still have the marblemouth delivery?

This song is so gorgeous. You really have to check out Ma$e's singing at the end, it's heartbreaking.

are there any sites that have an mp3 or stream up?

And can we firebomb them to contain the infection?

I was right!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:22 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Dan would probably really like this song though!

scg, Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:24 (twenty-one years ago)

I probably would, which is why I never want to hear it; the cognitive whiplash might make my head pop off.

Even a blind monkey finds a banana (or a good song or whatever).

So I know there is "Welcome Back" and "Back In The Days". I sure hope all the rest of the song son his album follow this trend.

There's also "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" f. P Diddy which is just a mandatory, dark Red Spyda club banger, where he brags about all his riches which doesn't seem very Christian to me but whatevs.

'Me broke? That's an oxymoron/Forget a bus, I bought a bus to tour on'

I hope that was the song I heard on radio, though I also wondered if it was Mase duetting with Kenny Rodgers or somebody.

R.I.M.A. (Barima), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 16:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh no, lets hope Wyclef isn't involved.
