You can't go wrong with Soul Jazz's latest either - Chicago Soul. Loads of blues fellas like Bo Diddley and Buddy Guy getting the good groove. Plus Etta James, Rotary Connection etc. If you want to kick it old-school, Harmless' 'DJ Pogo Presents The Breaks' is full of samples used on early hip-hop tracks and is similarly indispensible.

soulsavers mixes .. Fear and Loathing vol 1-3 series, smoking and drinking on a tuesday night. all are excellent mixes of classics, unknown and top fun for parties ..
