three months pass...

I am listening a CD of country and roots music and the yodelling coming from Jimmie Rodgers, THE SINGING BRAKEMAN, and ... The Staple Singers, turns out to be the prototype of the yodelling on 'My Morphine', to an extraordinary degree. I mean, it should have been predictable, but I didn't realize quite how trad her yodel is.
