I am starting this thread with not nearly enough coffee in my system. But all the britpop and techno threads were getting predictable by themselves so I think it's time we all just got together and had a nice civilized fight.

detroit techno is a bit overrated, but awesome anyway. i was listening to "landcruising" last night and it still sounds fresh. britpop wasn't fresh to begin with, the only half decent song is "girls and boys".
