Stinson swears he's still in GNR...but it's not as thought that's a really demanding gig.

I concur on the album, btw. It crackles.

Yipes. Am interviewing Stinz today -- any questions you'd like?

Wow, really? Got a promo copy and didn't think it'd amount to much, but now I have to check it out. S&D?

it's not so hot, but the title track is great

I think I like it better than Folker. I know for some this damning with faint praise but I like Folker. Probably the surprise of the year for me.

twenty-one years pass...

Completely by accident--if I'd known, I would have brought Let It Be with me for an autograph--I wandered into a Tommy Stinson in-store in London (Ontario) earlier this afternoon. I'm laughing at his answer when I asked how his Toronto show a few days ago went: "There were issues."

Nice! Grooves?

Speed City, on Horton...hadn't been there for a few months, and I always come away with good stuff. Today, 5 CDs for $20; a two-CD Marvelettes singles compilation, a CD of Del-Vikings demos, a David Essex best-of, Savoy Brown's Hellbound Train, and a reissue of the two Flamin' Groovies albums on Kama Sutra. Also: an overpriced Tommy Stinson T-shirt (which I was happy to pay).

Oh, wow—shoulda recognized Speed City from the photo, as that was my go-to record store when i was in London (the action figures shoulda been the giveaway). Anyway, very cool!

The Bashant pop record is very underrated I think

Bash and Pop

Already kicking myself for going with the T-shirt instead of the reissued One Man Mutiny, which was actually cheaper and I could have gotten autographed. I doubled back after a quick coffee and he was gone.
