... as he and my mother moved from a house to a flat. She finally managed to persuade him to get rid of the whole lot. I've got a pretty good handle on the jazz, blues and rock'n'roll, but HOW ON EARTH do I find out if any of the classical stuff (approx. 200 records) are good - or worth anything? Help appreciated.

Classical dealers/collectors are notoriously anal about vinyl.. only collecting certain labels and/or conductors... some of these sell for hundreds of dollars...
