i always end up putting off taking a shower for like half an hour while i stand around in my underwear trying to figure out what music to listen to

I have too big windows for that. Plus I live in a bungalow.

RRR2k4 is obv the best but gold has that terrific Tanya Stephens track which was my favorite from the album anyway.

I was thinking of getting the Tanya Stephens album based upon how much I like her track on Reggae Gold, and the favorable press she's gotten for her album. Should I save my money?

I still have to get RRR2k4 but there's a fair amount I like on Reggae Gold. Some of it is not dancehally, but I still like it for what it is--standard reggae-pop. Beres Hammond's voice is marvelous as always.

Ragga Ragga Ragga is a generally a way better series than Reggae Gold and this year is no exception. That said this years Reggae Gold is still pretty good (TOK! Tanya Stephens! Capleton! Alicia Keyes!?!?!?) Unfortunately both reggae/hip hop collabs ("Jook Gal" with Twista and the CNN one with Wayne Wonder) are blech and there is a lot of unmemorable stuff.
