...now that jay-z spends all his time having sex with beyonce. (based on http://sfj.abstractdynamics.org/archives/003749.html)

recommend some tracks that will help me understand why, please. or tell me i'm right to think that he's fucking crazy.

It's really not such a hard song to grasp. He's, like, railing against Bush and shit. Just check the video!

thanks.

Jada is Def Jam's biggest seller at the moment = Russell think's he's "#1"

The first Lox album is the only Jadakiss i've ever bothered to listen to properly, it's a straight up classic but his voice always sounds too homogenous NY gutter and never really stood out to me. I prefer Styles P. I can appreciate why people say he has some on-point punchlines though, if you like that kind of thing. If you only want one song I'd recommend you download 'All For The Love' but mainly because i'm mad on Swizz Beats.

Oh and if Jay Z can spend all his time having sex with beyonce and still drop mo fire tracks like 'Ignorant Shit' and 'Tennis' then he truly is a gifted individual.

"We Gonna Make It" is like my most favorite song ever

Al (sitcom), Thursday, 5 August 2004 19:42 (twenty-one years ago)

apparently "ignorant shit" was a black album leave-off. and produced by just blaze btw! tennis i'm downloading now

tennis is great...

I've really come around to Jadakiss lately....I don't really know why...he's definitely clever...but something about his kinda smug laconic vibe bugged me before...but like i said he's growing on me....Number #1 might be a stretch...

The Jada album is a disappointment to some extent, at least compared to his more recent fire tracks (some of which make it like "Real Hip Hop") although I guess on balance it's a decent album. I don't think he can do pop songs, when he does them they just sound kinda restrained and half-hearted. The best stuff is (predictably) the tough NY stuff.

jadakiss is far better when he sticks to his gangsta/street forte. hes one of the top5 MCs in new york.

The original version (with the real Ali sample - the track that was on the DJ Green Lantern Countdown to Armageddon mix tape) of "The Champ is Here" is prob. the best hip hop song of 2004....fuck ridin' a beat I parallel park on a track!

M@tt He1geson (Matt Helgeson), Friday, 6 August 2004 13:14 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah "The Champ Is Here" definitely signaled the turning point where I started to like Jada, realizing that it was the lame Scott Storch beat and not the verses that made "Time's Up" boring.
