20 years ago I was the music director at a University Radio station, and some of the people who also worked there eventually went on to work in commercial radio. Every time I see one particular guy, who now works a "modern rock" station (I don't think that they call it that still), he apologizes about where he works, as if he thinks I'm judging him. I'm not, but I know I'd be driven crayzee doing the same.

i work in radio but we're not really commercial (over 80% of our funds are govt allocated).

Yes, I do. It's great making a mistake at work and everyone in the state knowing about it. I especially like it when family members call my cell phone and say "Did you know that you're off the air?" SO THAT'S WHY THAT ALARM IS GOING OFF K THNX BYE.
