OK, inspired by Pfork reviewing the Conet Project, tell me about shortwave radio listening? What programs and weird shit can I hear? How many stations are generally on? How much $

ive had a sony handheld for almost twenty years now. its been dropped and neglected but still works fine. $$ you spend=number of bands you want. mine has 10 or so bands and i pick up all sorts of everything.

oh you don't like ambient noise do you? i might check it out. i think its the weekend of the 20th. i was gonna offer to lend or trade the shortwave for something cause my funds are low.
