GLC are the next big battle to be fought on ILM, you realise?

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 6 August 2004 21:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Which one, Ronan?

Venga, Saturday, 7 August 2004 19:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh yeah, sorry, realise you were answering Dom's post.

Venga, Saturday, 7 August 2004 19:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I agree with you as well. Goldie Lookin' Chain are the Bo Selecta of music.

Venga, Saturday, 7 August 2004 19:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Absolutely awful. jokes in music=crime against humanity.

Ronan (Ronan), Saturday, 7 August 2004 19:45 (twenty-one years ago)

i had to listen to goldie lookin' chain on a car trip recently. i wanted to bail out on the fdr drive, but the child safety lock on the door was engaged.

They are shit, yes. But that whole "They're The Darkness crossed with The Streets" lazy music journo steez, combined with the fact their entire ethos is based on irony... well, that's three ILM flarepoints all at once. In about two months we'll be flooded with threads about them. Someone should ask Pitchfork what they think now.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Saturday, 7 August 2004 21:51 (twenty-one years ago)

No-one should ask Pitchfork what they think. Ever.
