i didn't mean intend my "wtf"ness to refer to the song's supposed social message or progressiveness, but rather it was to express my amazement that it was so quite "good." and to see songs like this at 4:46 AM on the MTV: Pop Hits! channel does seem a bit weird, when i don't think anyone could really qualify this song as a "hit" yet
