I'm bummed about having to miss the Curiosa Festival in Toronto tomorrow, so perhaps I should put "Plainsong" on a continuous loop for the rest of the day

Will this make me feel better?

Good heavens, man, why has this sadness come upon you? Surely there were cheap seats at least.

I'm not in Toronto, Ned, I'm in Berlin (until Thursday, so I miss it by a few days).
It's really not that sort of a sadness -- my mood isn't something out of "Disintegration" right now -- but it sucks when you have to miss great shows for scheduling reasons.

Ah, true and easily understood. I missed the actual Disintegration tour that way. :-(

sorry Ned! it was my first encounter with the Cure, and what a way to start.
...so I won't tell you about the incredible 14-mns version of Faith that closed their show in Cittadella... :)

Hey Ned, have you finally received yr Japanese import?

No, and I weep. :-( Hopefully this week.

Well, having heard the extra songs off the single, I can tell you that it is well worth the wait, so do not weep my friend!

For those in the Toronto area, the Edge is broadcasting the concert live on radio tonight.
Also, the CBC is filming the show, intended for a future webcast (and perhaps for inclusion in the justconcerts archive?)
