This may have been asked befoore, if so apologies, as Jesus said.
Is it possible to create a random playlist, using wnamp or WMP or nero or cdex or dbpower of 15-20 mps to convert to CDA format to burn, or do I have to compile a manual list and then convert and burn?
Thanks.

Nero will convert and burn mp3s to cd audio on the fly.

Just select creat audio cd, drag and drop and burn.

if you get iTunes you can make a smart playlist set to length of 74 minutes selected at random, then burn it.

So do we start a "Don't think post your random playlists now?". Just to be on the safe side, here's what iTunes came up with

"Clipper" Autechre
"Nothing Matters When We're Dancing" The Magnetic Fields
"Is It All Over My Face (Larry Levan Mix)" Arthur Russell
"Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)" Prince
"Dredd Song" The Cure
"Siamese Twins" Tok Tok Vs Soffy O
"Ramparts" John Frusciante
"Deiche" Sex gang children
"The Fly" David Axelrod
"Noir Désir" Vive La Fête
"We Don't Play Guitars (Featuring Peaches)" Chicks On Speed
"Annie I'm Not Your Daddy" Kid Creole & The Coconuts
"Fake Sparkle Or Golden Dust?" Peter Murphy
"Blabber n' Smoke" Captain Beefheart

no chance of itunes, can't use a program that begins with i. typing it in was difficult. That, and no mac.
Will nero randomise the selection though?

iTunes is available for Windows.

I'm intrigued as to why you want to burn CDs of random tracks, though.

I found this - http://bleucanard.mark1hosting.net/dbSched.htm
looks ok.
Want to burn cd of random tracks as I am doing some mix cds for a friend, and want to dip automatically rather than manually into a pool of tracks and surprise her and myself with the result.

Queen gonna burn and we'll all get turns, Wednesday, 11 August 2004 10:56 (twenty-one years ago)
