is really fucking bad.

i have high hopes because MF is one of my faves, and his beats are usually pretty quirky. he usually samples bad 80s rn'b or weird lounge stuff, but this is just crappy backpacker shit. dark, dirty beats. i feel like i'm listening to an anticon release.

it's amazing. the beats are superb. he's moved on from his so-so loungey period, and this may be the best 32 minutes i've heard this year. road rage = goat.

It is a strikingly different style of beats. Seems to borrow a lot from glitch hop. I personally like the record, though there are too many guests spots.

What's the deal with the new label? This record almost seems like a way to promote the other artists on this new label.

Yes, but it's no Operation: Doomsday so what's the point? It's lacking.

yeah, he should keep recording Operation: Doomsday over and over!

no.

really, he should stop putting out so much crap in a year.

I like this a lot better than Madvillainy.

jax0n: the viktor vaughn doom personality is all about him with other producers. i like hearing him over other people beats more than his own sometimes.

yeah, i guess i sorta thought this, but for some reason the first VV album was a lot more listenable. i'll listen to it once or twice again before i sell it back.

He's the best (and most consistently brilliant) rap artist in both delivery and lyrical wit...sure VV2 has one too many guest spots, but each verse that Doom takes is worth more than the entire Kanye West album, more than Anticon's entire label output....he's the Sun Ra of the rap world and his weakest moments shit upon your favorite MC

delivery: check
