Where does that female 'HEY!' sample, to be heard in The Prodigy's "Firestarter" come from?

I once thought it was The Art Of Noise, but now I think even THEY sampled it from another record..... anyone?

Yes, it's from Art of Noise -- "Close to the Edit". They def. didn't sample it from another record because the liner notes for on the album and single specifically credit the AoN and nobody else.

It should also be noted that Alan Freed co-wrote many of Chuck Berry's biggest hits.

the guitar-stab that Daft Punk used for "da funk"
is also a sample.

Does anyone know where it comes from?
