I am looking for a certain song which got released between september 86 and august 89.
It's sung by a male artist and it starts with some a-capella lines.
The singer kinda sounds like Peter Brown (known for his single Love In Our Hearts) but it's not him.

It's a reggae-song and somewhere in the song the line "...Or the guy who goes with you to work..." passes.

The song you are looking for is named "In Salvador", by Ruben Blades from his album "Nothing but the truth". I love that song and know most of the lyrics but it seems you cannot find the lyrics of the rest of the album in Internet.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about the song until yesterday! I searched for the part of the lyrics which I remember and found this site back, WITH THE ANSWER!
