I don't think its "better" neccessarily but I played the hell out of "Friday Night" when I first got it. Also I think "No Better Love" isn't getting enough attention.
I'm with Chuck re: Kevin Lyttle. Dude's voice is sweeeeeeet. I wouldn't say I like it more than the dancehall cuts I mentioned, but its beautiful in its own way.

[Chorus:]Don't goGirls and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and boys can rule the worldDon't goBoys and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and girls can rule the world
I've got jumbo polka-dotted trousersWith the empty pocketsIt's funny to me that the two of usCould fit in one pairKings and queens on magazinesThat have me on the coverBut none of that compares toJust one night alone with youAnd what you do
Don't goGirls and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and boys can rule the worldDon't goBoys and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and girls can rule the world [x2]
I was just ridin' my bike on 43rd streetPast the station and there'sOne person without a seatYou got me wishin' I was just a littleSquirrel at your windowGot me whistlin' a songI thought I never could likeJust for you
Don't goGirls and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and boys can rule the worldDon't goBoys and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and girls can rule the world [x3]
Boys and boys should be togetherDon't goGirls and girls can rule the world

I'd note though that Houston isn't a rapper but an R&B singer - and indeed his singing is a big part of why I like the song so much.

Also, Espen Lind wrote an absolutely marvellous song for this year's Norwegian Idol winner. Kartjan himself doesn't contribute much to the single being one of the best of the year, but it still is thanks to a truly great song by Espen Lind called "Standing Tall"
