Schools of Contemporary/Electronic music?

I'm considering going to study music somewhere (anywhere worldwide) for a short time next year, and was wondering if there were any institutions that teach/discuss primarily electronic music. Do such schools exist?

I remember being told of such a place in London a few years ago, but can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

Stockhausen has his own summer courses in Germany. But am not so sure if he's still contemporary these days...

If you're fluent in French (a big if I know), Universite de Montreal has a really well-reputed composition programme in electroacoustic music. You can study with Robert Normandeau or Jean Piche, two of Canada's leading electro composers. Concordia, also in Montreal, has what seems to be (judging from their concerts) a great programme in electroacoustics also. It is the centre of the Canadian Electroacoustic Community.

Princeton has Paul Lansky and what seems to be a well-equipped studio. Also Mills College in Oakland has a pretty well-reputed centre for electronic music.

I haven't studied at any of these places so I'm going by what they seem to produce and what I've read.

University of Texas has seriously kick ass electronic music facilities.

Mills College was recommended, so I'm gonna say IRCAM.

Does showing people how to steal car stereos count as a school of electronic music?

Sasha - that may not be precisely a "school of electronic music" but it sure does look like a "workshop", uhuh.
