also, is 'Involver' any good?

Involver is OK. it's a bit bland really, not terrible but not great either, quite chilled.

his finest moment really is the 'Xpander' EP huh?

The Sasha record you really need is 'Xpander'...

Erk, XP

A lot of the material on Airdrawndagger sounds suspiciously like Orbital, so "In-Sides", etc.

Siegbran (eofor), Friday, 3 September 2004 08:59 (twenty years ago)

'Magnetic North' is VERY Orbital. things like 'Bloodlock' and 'Fundamental' were quintessential Sasha tho - he's been around as long as they have after all.

Also, James Holden ("A Break In The Clouds"), Nathan Fake ("Outhouse"), Perry O'Neil, Probspot ("Blueberry"), Ozgur Can ("Weightless") and some recent Junkie XL remixes (he produced "Airdrawndagger").

Airdrawndagger felt like a strong return to his prog routes so I'm guessing 'dancefloor' would like the first Northern Exposure comp a lot.

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Friday, 3 September 2004 12:04 (twenty years ago)

i was gonna suggest that as well as the first BT album but thought there must be more recent stuff!

actually it was Siegbran that recommended that remix of Jewel's 'Intuition' last year (something Coldharbour mix?) and that would totally fit the bill here

Markus Schulz, yes. Search: Markus Schulz presents Elevation "Largo"

and Ozgur Can "Over Nothing At All"

Has anyone heard Sasha's "Appolonia" (as BMEX)? There was a double 12" and it's my favortite thing he ever did.
