I got 60 out of 70.

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 4 September 2004 18:22 (twenty years ago)

52/70. I think I must have had some lucky guesses.

All Saints had a hit with "Under The Bridge"? You brits are crazy.

manthony m1cc1o (Anthony Miccio), Saturday, 4 September 2004 18:36 (twenty years ago)

I got 51. I was lost on some of the Brit-centric stuff (i.e. TV themes)

Barry Bruner (Barry Bruner), Saturday, 4 September 2004 18:42 (twenty years ago)

58.

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 4 September 2004 18:52 (twenty years ago)

57, don't have a clue about musicals.

zappi (joni), Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:06 (twenty years ago)

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:13 (twenty years ago)

Only got 48/70 :( Need to pay more attention to ILM.

fractal (fractal), Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:16 (twenty years ago)

or less, possibly.

Krankenhaus, Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:39 (twenty years ago)

Ah. YOu could be right. Less ILM more Smash Hits and Q

fractal (fractal), Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:46 (twenty years ago)

47!

I intend to write a song called "Lament for Gandalf" now, though.

Gear! (Gear!), Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:52 (twenty years ago)

All Saints had a hit with "Under The Bridge"? You brits are crazy.

hey thats nothing, in a couple of weeks the uk no1 will be a steve winwood sample looped over and over and over and over...

zappi (joni), Saturday, 4 September 2004 19:59 (twenty years ago)

48, but I struggled with some of the more Brit-centric stuff.

Bruce S. Urquhart (BanjoMania), Saturday, 4 September 2004 21:11 (twenty years ago)

61. Do I win?

mike t-diva (mike t-diva), Sunday, 5 September 2004 15:56 (twenty years ago)

I did it again and got 62 this time. So maybe you win for not having had two shots at it.

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 5 September 2004 16:00 (twenty years ago)

haha 39

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Sunday, 5 September 2004 16:08 (twenty years ago)

69, although it we watched it in real time and it was a bit of a team effort. We screwed up on Bob Marley's first hit.
I would have got 66 on my own, as I didn't know the Ginger and Fred one (Mrs. Dr. C DID know), or which song Bjork sang at the Olympics (my sister got that one). There was one other too.

Dr. C (Dr. C), Sunday, 5 September 2004 16:17 (twenty years ago)

52, though the ones I didn't get at least made me feel young.

The Lex (The Lex), Sunday, 5 September 2004 16:19 (twenty years ago)

55. About as expected, I suppose.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 5 September 2004 17:33 (twenty years ago)

47 for me.

jaymc (jaymc), Sunday, 5 September 2004 17:51 (twenty years ago)

47 for me too. I'm quite pleased.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Sunday, 5 September 2004 18:24 (twenty years ago)

57, really did badly on the musicals

Porkpie (porkpie), Sunday, 5 September 2004 18:36 (twenty years ago)

52. Didn't really feel any of those song titles described me as a person.

Jamie Fake (the pirate king), Sunday, 5 September 2004 19:05 (twenty years ago)

58. I feel sick that I participated in something that Anne Robinson recieves money for though. Grr.

Bumfluff, Sunday, 5 September 2004 19:08 (twenty years ago)

45. I should really pay more attention to charts, boybands, and the U.K. in general.

tremendoid, Sunday, 5 September 2004 20:02 (twenty years ago)

58. A couple of guesses in there, but knew all of the Musicals ones...

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Monday, 6 September 2004 05:56 (twenty years ago)

66. On my own. I did only watch the 'answers' prog, but I did answer most before the answers (or clues) came up.

Wrongs =
The "Chicago" musical
Kylie / Olympics
Annie Lennox Oscar song
Ella Fitzgerald's first song

Fair enough I say. The website asks me am I sure I'm not a Radio 2 DJ?

(Redid the quiz to remember the wrong answers I did)

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 6 September 2004 07:07 (twenty years ago)

Did it via the digibox live and got 62. Solo effort. Was doing ok till the last section where i got 5 wrong. Bah.

mms (mms), Monday, 6 September 2004 07:42 (twenty years ago)

For some reason, I thought it was going to be tougher...

(Anne: OK, dentists, barmaids, etc. Now we have the Kanye West section...)

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 6 September 2004 07:55 (twenty years ago)

51 for me, but one of the wrong answers was down to hitting the wrong button in the decades section.

Anna (Anna), Monday, 6 September 2004 07:58 (twenty years ago)

55. i dropped about 4 or 5 "should have got"s through not listening to the question proper and occassional dummmnes: eurovision q (of COURSE it was sandy shaw), boyzone (NOT westlife and i knew i KNEW it) did the cat stevens cover, of course Kylie was lympics (giant shoe or something wunnit), prince qn i got wrong by not paying attention, same for Madonna. Most embarassingly i said ian dury did the theme to Only Fools and Horses when asked cold I would have said it was the writer. smack me hard.

Jaunty Alan (Alan), Monday, 6 September 2004 12:08 (twenty years ago)

Emma and I got 58, but by the last section we were pissed (champagne and white wine).

Jimmybommy JimmyK'KANG (Nick Southall), Monday, 6 September 2004 12:16 (twenty years ago)

Does the type of drink make a difference?

Alba (Alba), Monday, 6 September 2004 12:23 (twenty years ago)

I think red wine is meant to be better for your BRANE, plus champagen goes straight to yr head, innit.

Jimmybommy JimmyK'KANG (Nick Southall), Monday, 6 September 2004 12:24 (twenty years ago)

49

another UK-challenged

dleone (dleone), Monday, 6 September 2004 13:26 (twenty years ago)

56. i was cocky as hell for the first 4 sections then it all went a bit maths/facts and i kind of lost it.

i was thrilled however to find that my favourite musical decade when asked point blank is actually the 00's! how ace is that?
i really mean it aswell, but i was surprised.

piscesboy, Monday, 6 September 2004 13:42 (twenty years ago)
