i saw the wolfgang press once, awful. then someone told me i needed to hear the older albums about a birdhouse or something and i heard them and it was worse. they might be more comparable to say the beta band, pre-cursor to that sort of thing.

Standing Up Straight, Bird Wood Cage and Queer are a great trio of releases.

Birdwood cage was a 88-89 release and Queer was 91? so they were great through to then.
