― startrekman, Monday, 13 September 2004 02:52 (twenty-two years ago)

number 2, the 505 was made in 1984 about 2 years after that song came out.

― startrekman, Monday, 13 September 2004 02:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I WAS KIDDING! I was making fun of the fact that you always come here and tersely ask these questions. No, "hello, I'm writing a book and would like your advice!" or anything of the sort. Is the book going to be called "a catalog of synthesizers and drum machines as used by various artists in the 70s/80s written by startrekman & ILM"? Probably not.

For the record I'd say a linn with copious amounts of reverb, but what do I know?

― Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Monday, 13 September 2004 05:21 (twenty-two years ago)

i am writing a book.
