yeah thats a terrible analogy on many fronts but GO and esp tell me abt kid 606 genre shit that might sample from rap music as encouregably or lesser than kid 606 himself. ALSO, what pop. (ie >madlib) rap song samples the whitest song (from the whitest band)?

in re: 2nd q, the 1st thing I thought of was Brand Nubian's use of Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians "What I Say" on their "Slow Down" from the 1st rec One For All. I mean, that was the whitest fuckin' thing I can think of. But the Police one Sterl mentioned is good too.
