I would've given you my 'Til Shiloh

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:17 (twenty-one years ago)

That doesn't sound good.

supercub, Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh you may like it. I just found out that I can't take gruff toasters or digital dancehall beats.

I really miss doing the whole order a gang of cds simultaneously thing.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:21 (twenty-one years ago)

There's nothing quite like it. It's kind of silly though, cus I won't get around to properly listening to them all for a month or so.

supercub, Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:23 (twenty-one years ago)

But that's why it's great! The novelty of the first few you go through wears off, and then you have 7 more to tackle. I would get all antsy and could never sit through each cd all the way through.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:25 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, all reading one disc's liner notes while another's playing

jake b. (cerybut), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:27 (twenty-one years ago)

The one you choose to play first can almost never live it to its top billing.

After first listen, your least favorite and most favorite are the ones you'll love.

Diana is the best Chic record by far

Mike Ouderkirk (Mike Ouderkirk), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Great stack. I didn't own 'Dare' until about three years ago, and now it's one of my all-time faves. "Everybody needs fun and adventure"!

Rickey Wright (Rrrickey), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:38 (twenty-one years ago)

I hardly ever buy this many CDs at once, because if I don't like some of the albums right away, I get depressed and feel like I've thrown my money away. (But of course, that's just me being impatient.)

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:39 (twenty-one years ago)

YAY!

I'm really looking forward to Diana. I am all about Chic right now.

supercub, Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, there's a reason I got all of these CDs at once. It's significantly cheaper for me to order online than buy at a store. I figured while I'm already paying shipping, I might as well spend way too much money.

supercub, Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:42 (twenty-one years ago)

the nico album has some very good songs on it.

the surface noise (slight return) (electricsound), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 05:50 (twenty-one years ago)

I wrote 'here' instead of hear. that's pathetic, but it was intentional.

supercub, Wednesday, 15 September 2004 06:34 (twenty-one years ago)

those are some good cds man, you have some fine times ahead of you

amateur!!!st (amateurist), Wednesday, 15 September 2004 06:38 (twenty-one years ago)

I was listening to Chelsea Girl yesterday and was thinking how dull it was, maybe it sounds better on smack. The rest are great though.
