New Wave-y female-fronted pop song...
the lyrics I can remember say something like:

"Let's get out the chalk and draw the line..." and "everything I try to say / is coming out the wrong way"

That doesn't seem to be it -- this song wasn't QUITE as sugary as the Sounds clips I just heard, and the Sounds girl appears to have a bit of an accent. Hmm...

I had initially thought I heard this on KXLU, but now I am realizing it was on 103.1, which should narrow the field -- but I can't find anything on the playlist that matches...it might have been on one of those shows that's an old punk rocker playing songs... anyone?
