'Now we add a little pinch of glitch' etc

I'm actually surprised nobody has done this. I think it would work really well. (maybe somebody has done it)
Feel free to steal this idea.

Seconded.

Great idea. Vocal should be a speech synth. Could be done with Archie Drell's "Tighten' Up" as well. Some of Marc LeClari's basslines would sound pretty good after Archie saying "C'mon, tighten' it up now, bass!"

Joe shows no interest in taking credit so let me be the first to copyright this idea. Anyone who uses it from this day forward owes me royalties. Sorry, Joe.

i'm actually working on a project along these lines. doing some meters, bar-kays, booker t. and this james brown instrumental from the "sex machine" album '70 called "lowdown popcorn," all done in, er, ahh, modern style of some electronica-thang or whatever. working on getting a gospel chorus to record some stuff to fuck with and use on top of the basic trax later. fun.

Who needs a gospel chorus, just play the vocal track from Little Sister's "You're the One" backwards ...
