I'm so happy I could scream (so ignore me please)

I'm not expecting anyone to care, but I just want to say that I've been searching for a copy of the CD of "Inference" by Pacific for ten whole years, with no sign of it ever turning up ever. And today I picked it up from my local Oxfam for £4! I'm absolutely ecstatic. I've had the 12 inch of their second single "Shrift" (which I raved about on 102 beats that years ago), and the LP of "Inference" which had an inferior single mix of "Shrift", but the CD's got the full 8 minute version of it. I'm as happy as a fucking sandboy.

I've got that album. I haven't listened to it in years. I bought it because of 'Shrift', I think. Is that the one that goes "you're treading dirty water, you lose strength now, deep inside"? On Doing It For The Kids? Or was that 'Barnoon Hill'? All these flaky memories.

I'm very happy for you, anyway.

That one was "Barnoon hill". (Hang on, I just heard "Streets of your town" on BBC1. What's going on?) "Jetstream" was on "Doing it for the kids". I was just so excited yesterday that I had to tell somebody and ILM seemed as good as any. My wife's reaction was "Big deal, get your priorities right" while my work colleagues were all "Who the hell?" I'm still happy, and I've found out this morning that I've passed my HNC. Things are going my way at last. Let's hope I can get a better job too. Anyway... still happy...
