not that weird, since matador has been putting on electronic and hip-hop stuff for years, and distibuted red snapper, nightmares on wax, etc., in the u.s. and late-bloomer is otm about wolf eyes on subpop.

don't see how the bassholes on revanant is weird - I figure they are trying to join the dots between jazz-rock-folk-blues-psych-improvised abstract art etc etc. I think they fit.
