It was 'The Punk Generation' by Castle Communications. ie. cheap looking, bad colour-scheme, generic 'Sex Pistols' font, inner pages of front cover were blank, but the worst thing about it was that among the artists listed on the front was Sham 69 (with a photo, no less) and they weren't even on it!
But it had some great stuff: GLC, Infa-Riot, a fucking great Partisans song, Blitz... and other stuff.

Remember that controversy? Garth Brooks bemoaning the fact that record stores were selling used CDs without compensation given to the artists? Now, look at 'em. Ha. You won, Garth. I haven't bought a used CD in years, and yet, somehow your entire catalogue is still available to me for free.
