I'm listening to it now! Wow! This is really good. Went to Wheels Instead Of Hooves the other night and was disappointed that (despite the fact it WAS an IDM night, I couldn't dance to hardly any beats). This is totally danceable though - even the VSnares stuff and it's mixed really well too. Wicked!

bought this last night, tried listening to it this morning but it was a bit abrasive for my morning ears. am looking forward, i think, to Shitmat's 'There's No Business Like Propa' Rungleclotted Mashup Bizznizz' and his 'Dis Dancehall Ting Is Better Than That TV Ting Tony'.

(what's the one that uses the steptoe and son theme?)

Wow, if you couldn't dance at Wheels Against Hooves, you must have missed Remarc. I went home when Venetian Snares came on, mind.

You could dance, if you stuck your elbows out like you were doing the birdy dance or just generally annoyed people enough to clear a space. Why was the main room so small? That comp is great, as you rightly say

Someone had offered me some shrooms at the beginning of the night and I spent the rest of it feeling absolutely horrible so that didn't help. Mind you it really was proper crowded. Who was the guy in the orange shirt who played just before the VSnares? He was hardcore!

Da'tachi (sp?) was it? One of the label's second stringers I guess. Yeah, that was good although I was beginning to lose the plot a bit by then :(
