Sonic Youth had a video made in a building that was a vacant former mental hospital. I just remember a lot of white hallways. I'll be damned if I could remember which song it was.

Alex I have a question for you have you heard the first single by Blue In Heaven "Across My Heart"? I am head over heels in love with the Martin Hannett produced version. Boy do those guitars sound uncannily Joy Divisionish in their sound! But yet, even without Hannett, it's a very well-written song in and of itself. I have had the "All The God's Men" LP since it came out, and I think it's pretty excellent overall, but "Across Your Heart" is new to me, and I am in awe at it's perfection.

Also, have you heard of the band D.C. band 9353?

The only Blue in Heaven I ever managed to get my ears around was Explicit Material, so sadly I must say no. I'd quite like to hear it, though.

Re: 9353, i completely remember their album covers, but don't believe I ever heard them. Didn't they have some connection to Marginal Man?

I just realized there's another Blue In Heaven thread going. Damn, wish I'd posted there instead. Last time I checked, I don't think there was one. I'm not sure how to do a link inside a post, either. Or if I should copy what I posted over there. I haven't even read the whole thing yet. ARgh.

I hate to say Marginal Man does not ring a bell, although Minimal Man does.
