As a way of expressing that something is classic or essential: using "canon" as an adjective. As in, "That shit's canon," "3 Feet High and Rising? Canon."

I like it, because it can also be taken to mean "cannon" as in "This shit is "Booooooooom!!!!"

except that canon is a dirty word for a lot of dedicated canon smashing subversion fans out there. i'm not judging, i'm just saying. it's good for the reconstructionists, i guess. 'milli vanilli is fuckin' canon, my friend!' et al.
