Waits' stories were great, performance was killer. Got pissed trying to get VCR to record w/satellite, said fuck it and stayed up. ANyone else see Michael Ian Black host Late Late Show afterwards? Painful. I Love the Oughts material.

I was surprised how restrained Judah & Russell were. It is quite possible that after all these years being all "TEH BUHLOOZ-uh EXPUHLOZHEEYIN-ah!!!!!!" dunt duh dugga duh dunt duh dugga duh etc., they really enjoyed the opportunity to dig in on this slow, steamy bit of deviltry (which was "Make It Rain" btw). I was soooo glad he sat and talked with Tom, too. He's such a ridiculously excellent storyteller.
