To this stable my own father would probably 'fess up to Toto, Burt Bacharach and The Seekers, but receding from pop after that to Sky, Mantovani...Vangelis... For me it's Talk Talk, Simple Minds. Even New Order (they were great live in '02, but still dadpop).
