Is this a cry for mix-cds?

Jordan (Jordan), Tuesday, 5 October 2004 19:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Why don't you get a job, you dirty hippie? Then you can afford new cds.

Oh yeah, I would be willing to make a bitchin' mix cd for a 15-year-old.

But seriously, make a few mistakes. Take some buying risks and get something that sounded interesting here, like, some early Dinasour Jr (up to Bug) or go for some oft well regarded classics like the first Velvet Underground album, Television's Marquee Moon, the Fall's This Nation's Saving Grave, My Bloody Valentine's Loveless - that kind of thing. Or yeah go for Rock or Aaron's sterling suggestions.

Something new? Try Oneida or Blonde Redhead.

It is tempting to think ILM could cure Nowell's ADHD with just the right dosage of mix CDs. "Calling Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard..." woobwoobwoobwoob!!!
