Anyone have any ideas? I went to Cutlers in New Haven once and had to deal with some crabby employees, and was lowballed to boot. Fairfield or New Haven counties would work the best.

I'd Ebay them but have neither the time nor energy.

Thanks in advance.

Try Music Outlet in Enfield for CD's, they don't do vinyls. They take a lot, but you may not get a ton of $ for them...

i'm curious to see how these ebay drop-off places work. since you have neither time / energy to put 'em up on ebay, try one of these places and report back, k? there's some places in new haven, from my search.

My first inclination would be Integrity n Music in Wethersfield if it still exists (I think it's on Rt 3, maybe?). Awesome store.

not many options here. Cutler's will seldom take anything they don't recognize. same with the two Exile on Main Street stores. Brass City in Waterbury is more accepting but will give you much less. Replay Records (in West Haven) takes vinyl - may be worth giving them a call (203-934-9999). my suggestion is to save up your trade-ins and cart them over the border to NYC or to Massachusetts. where are you in CT?

You could truck yr stuff up to the UConn area (assuming both The Disc and University Music are still kicking, of course).

Thanks to all for your comments. I live in Milford, a little harbor town between Bridgeport and New Haven.

Dude, just get a shrinkwrapper. You can do that anywhere.

Dude, I live in Milford too, and describing it as "a little harbor town" is completely misleading. You make it sound like some idyllic New Englande village. There is far too much traffic and far too many porn stores for this to be true.

Gerosa takes in trades I believe, which is off of Federal Rd., in Danbury. Trash, as well, which is off Mill Plain Rd.

Don't know how far from Milford that is...

Stewart:

I guess it depends on where you live. I rarely deal with the Post Road and walk most places, and...being a long-time city person, any green space and water is welcome.

Relax, please.
