You know those guys when you were a kid who would come over to your house and you'd hang out and then he'd leave and you'd find one of your toys was missing or broken? I just lent one of my needles to one of those kids. I am broke and cannot afford to replace it should something happen.

Why would you let someone borrow a cartridge??? Even letting someone borrow a car makes more sense.

That's like me letting someone borrow my glasses. They're fragile, I can't see for shit without them, and I can't afford to replace them right now. It's even worse because someone would likely give them back. I think there's a 50% chance of you not getting it back. And a 50% chance of you getting it back in shit shape.

I'd just go ahead and start saving for a new one. Stick to CDs, MP3s, etc. 'till then.

By the way, message boards of any type are not the place to go for consoling regarding a dumb decision.
