I'm looking for the name of group/song that has line "It's Christmas time pretty baby, and the snow is falling on the ground. It's kind of a rocker. Any ideas?

merry christmas baby, by Phil Spector, etc. Done very rockingly by the New Bomb Turks. Almost cancels out the U2 version. I think I heard a flexi-disk version by Slow at one point that was so good it hurt. Anyway, lots and lots of other people have done it, too.

the very same. 'twas a flexi from some magazine that I saw at a campus radio station, years ago. But then someone stole it, and I've never seen it again. Not the kind of thing that crops up in used record stores, either! it'd be great to see a compilation of Slow (the EP, the single, any other stuff??) similar to those done for the Young Canadians, Pointed Sticks, Modernettes, etc. But I'm just dreaming.
