i just sent that geocities page to my friend and told him that it's a good thing he's lazy. he almost made a remix album of all bollywood samples.

that http://www.thelatinalbum.com/ was kinda cool actually from the clips i heard.

s1ocki (slutsky), Monday, 11 October 2004 02:42 (twenty-one years ago)

You know what you should do, Rollie? You oughta, like, remix it with some white artist who has nothing to do with hip-hop.

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Monday, 11 October 2004 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

frenchbloke (frenchbloke), Monday, 11 October 2004 11:22 (twenty-one years ago)

dude missed the black and blue album (mixed with weezer's blue album) and the slack album (mixed with pavement). the black and blue is kidna weak, but the slack album has 2-3 really fun tracks.

chr1sb0y (chr1sb0y), Monday, 11 October 2004 11:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Jay-DC? What a wasted name opportunity. It should've been JZ/DC.

x-post the slack album is on there; I don't agree with the "really fun tracks" assessment though

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 11 October 2004 11:25 (twenty-one years ago)

three years pass...

here we go again : http://www.jayandmarvin.com/

to be fair, i actually like this, just amazed that some well connected people are still putting so much effort into this type of mash up affair in 2008.

I've heard a dozen or so of these (why? I don't know), American Ironman is best.

BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Wednesday, 16 January 2008 21:17 (seventeen years ago)
