Squarepusher's recordings under the Duke Of Harringay moniker, also his 'Plaistow Flex-Out' and 'Journey To Reedham' (if that counts as London, it's south of Croydon) tracks tho i'm sure he's done a whole load of Pusher tracks with London refs

Wagon Christ put out a ltd glow in the dark 10" called 'London is a Country', (With a vocal sample from "Withnail & I", that repeats the vocal in the song. Maybe on ElectroBunker??

Weatherall released some stuff as The Stockwell Steppers and I seem to remember him saying once in an interview that when he did a lot of acid he'd refer to himself as the Baron of Battersea - heh.

oh! thanks for that reminder, i thought i had already missed automatic writing in the midst of my house move, so that's a pleasant surprise.

maybe i've just sidled into the circles a bit more than before, but there seems to be a lot more small electroacoustic, sound art, etc etc things going on around london than there was even last year. i haven't been able to check out much yet but it's nice to see.

Near the front :-(

Caught that terrific recital yesterday - Holliger's Trio was a marvel. To put it at the end was the right decision.

Going to Dumitrescu on Thursday Tom (interested in him?)

He hasn't. I felt like this was so Varesian - I've never quite heard percussion deployed like this in forever. Wonder what it would be like in a proper hall - it did work in the dungeon of Oto.
