My wife called and heard some Cesaria Evora song in a restaurant and wants me to buy an album on the way home. What should I get? Just start with the best-of?

A very low-pressure telemarketer tried to get me to buy tickets to Cesaria Evora--or at least something at the K*mm*l C*nt*r. I don't usually talk to telemarketers, but since he asked me what music I liked. . . Poor guy.

I bought the first album on Nonesuch, and I liked it at first, but got tired of it and got rid of it. I should probably give her another chance. (The library has a whole bunch of her things.) I understand her recordings since that one are less fadoesque. (I know it wasn't straight fado, but it still resembled that to me, and I just can't quite get into the fado thing.)

can somebody give me a P0X on her? I've been meaning to hear some of her stuff but have no idea where to begin. Any song recommendations?

Like I say, I only have the best-of, but if you're looking for one track "Sodade" is probably a good place to start.
