I Like Dot Dot Dot:Oh ain't nobody going to fuck the son: I'll send it to you.
That's it.
The album's good...the band really sounds terrific. "THe Oscillator's Hum" is the best track. As decent as that cd is, I think I prefer the new Run Chico Run album 'Shashbo' more. It's just as strange, but much more accessible. What's with the folks in Victoria these days? Yikes, they're making scary music lately.

Is this one of those bands that just "slipped away", got sucked into the black hole of time, lost momentum and was collectively forgotten? 'The Folded Palm' is an album I treasure dearly, but I can't say I've paid attention to them for the last decade. I looked them up just now and saw they released an album just last year, to little or no fanfare. Supposedly their swan song too. Hey, they got a p4k review, but seems to be along the lines of this very post: a band on the brink of being forgotten (despite the Dan Bejar connections). But it's good! It's... very Frog Eyes.
It's the way it goes, I suppose. Searching for "frog eyes" on this forum mostly leads to recent Migos T-Shirt references. They are quite unique though, but just not meant for these times and hella out of fashion? (even though I strongly disagree)
There isn't a single sentence/lyric in the world that actually scares me as much as this one: You better hold tight, 'cause even cancer needs a home. That must count for something.
