Janeane Garofalo was, at one time, quite vocal about the Old '97s being her favorite band. I guess that makes sense, although it might just as easily have been Superchunk.

So what about others?

Yeah, it was either a Radio One or Radio Scotland show where the guests picked their favourite records, kinda like "Desert Island Discs". I think he played two C.V. songs although I can't remember which ones. Not "Nag Nag Nag" though.
