what are all the genres that run on riddim or dubplate culture?

eleven months pass...
i guess it started in a small way with rocksteady, and different artists voicing different rhythms in exactly the same way as there are multiple songs on the same backing tracks in 60s US soul.

while there are quite a few 60s Soul tracks on the same backings (either different songs or different vocalists tackling the same songs), it's only a small minority of tracks, never the dominant thing in Soul...
