I suppose it's evidence of just how far their reputation has crashed since 100th Window that we haven't even discussed this yet.

it sounds predictable but rather lush and beautiful - Not Murky at all thank god.

Like a bunch of great ideas that only rarely get fleshed out. Some lockgroove kind of stuff and then some brief orchestral interludes... all of which might have been ruined if they exceeded two minutes in length.

I still stand by 100th window as a fantastic - yet super claustrophobic and bleak - record. Really lovely in its way. I still haven't heard DTD.

i got it yesterday. i think it's a grower. a mix of slow, atmospheric tracks and noisy ragged pieces. massive attack is one of the last bands left which i can buy a new cd of blindly. each of their releases has been very exciting in the beginning. as said before 100th window was phantastic. cold and suffocating but totally mind-blowing at the same time. did anybody see the film?
