Oh, and is it just me or are you going to have a new #1 in your Pop Eye hall of fame? Outkast is kicking the competition's collective ass.

Despite actually liking a handful of Semisonic tunes, incidentally, I burst out laughing at the 'crushing blow to people who like crap' crack. That's fantastic.

PS No way are Manics going to topple the Kitten.

No way are the Manics going to beat Shaggy, let alone the Kitten. Shaggy will maul the kitten.. The Manics have not even beaten Lush.... (Lush after all have a definate suicide, as opposed to a wishy washy missing presumed dead).

It's not knowingly a ripped-off joke - I think it's one of those jokes so bad that everyone assumes it was them. I know Tanya nicked a couple of the Nelly jokes off you after Friday evening but I would never stoop so low.

Oh, but wishy washy disappearances are far more interesting than straight out suicides, because you get that fun "I JUST SAW HIM IN GOA FOR FUCK'S SAKE" article from time to time. And if he was actually dead, I wouldn't have gotten the ace email suggesting my STILL anonymous Valentine was from him, a suggestion I immediately passed onto my friend Andy, which he found extremely sensible.

This has nothing to do with anything. That Nelly Furtado thing was fantastic, incidentally, but not as good as the other one this week. Except I've forgotten what the other one was, so I guess I'm lying. They both made me laugh, though, which is good.

SHAGGY CONQUERS ALL.

The Shaggy video confuses me, his pal the "love cheat" is safe in Shaggy's mansion at the beginning, but the rest of the video shows him being chased by a group of angry women and finally being saved and returned to Shaggy's mansion. Surely, the scene where "love cheat" was talking with Shaggy should have been the last scene!?! Anyway, I'm just dreading Westlife's obligatory number one with their carbon copy of "Uptown Girl". Oh yeah, I'm also totally confused by the Backstreet Boys video!!

Oh, the Shaggy video is *circular*. Like Pulp Fiction. My main concern about the video is why is Shaggy such a PIMP DADDY? What's *with* all those chicks?
