All I See Is Red.....a band I've just been turned onto

As I mentioned in a previous thread, the guy who runs the cool record store in my city lends me stuff he thinks I might like, and I bring back the stuff I don't care for, and purchase the discs I like. Last week he lent me a twoCD set from a group called All I See Is Red called "The Terrorists Have Cut The Power". I think that they're from Toronto. There's no info about them (not even track titles), and nothin on the web except this non-functioning website:

http://www.alliseeisred.com/

and a brief article elsewhere which states " All I See Is Red is a relatively unknown dub-jazz quartet".

I guess that they just played here in town, and I didn't know about it until after the fact.
Anyways, its a great collection of tracks, much of it reminding me of the last HIM album "Many In High Places Are Not Well", on of my favourite albums of last year, but maybe a bit more diverse.

I thought that this was an outstanding album right from the first listen! Does anyone know of these guys???

I have an album of theirs which came out in the spring ... unfortunately, I can't find it right now. So I'm not sure if it has the same songs thta are on this new 2CD. They were giving out free copies of it in a Toronto music store as promotion for one of their gigs so I grabbed it. It didn't blow me away, but I definitely wouldn't mind hearing more from them.

Maybe one of the other Toronto ILM'ers can add more?

Ya, Ken, its Dr.Disc. Its turning into a pretty good store nowadaze. Liam (da guy who bought it) keeps it well stocked, and with surprising goodies. It even has a decent jazz section. I stopped going in there during the last years of the old regime, cuz it was so bad. But now there's something for me to buy each time I go in!
